This is a hand-portable lensmeter that is easy to operate but accurate, ideal for home use or an environment that requires mobile use. The CP-1 lensmeter is AC/DC dual-purpose, you can either add 2 of 1.5V dry batteries or directly connect 110V power. The target that is usually a crossed set of combined lines is imaged through a lens of focal length. At the rear focal point of the lens we place the spectacle lens that we want to test. It is very important that the spectacle lens is placed correctly, so do not be hasty when doing this but make sure that you have done everything right.

If you want to understand how to read the glasses, you must understand the number line. The number line spreads at both sides, divided with 20 diopters at each side. On one side are the positive values while on the other side are the negative ones. Adjusting the eyepiece for your eye is important in order to ensure the correct measurement.

There are a few points to NOTE: 1. Install the battery: Please pay attention to the positive and negative terminals of the battery. There is a "+/-" mark above the battery port. If you do not use the machine for a long time, remove the battery. (The package does not contain batteries due to shipping restrictions.) 2. Aperture: Make sure the battery is installed/powered on, press the metal pusher on the back of the machine to see the aperture in the lens. 3. Glasses installation: Ensure that the optical center of the lens is in the observation center, and keep the left and right lens levels, which can be adjusted continuously. 4. Reading: The measurement is completed only when the aperture is in the middle of the field of view and is very clear. The indication on the left is the measurement result.

The metal touches the metal pusher and the aperture appears. Slide up and down to adjust the placement of the glasses. Adjust the wheel until the aperture is clear. The scale indicated by the triangle is the measurement result.

After connecting the power supply, press the lens gripper level, which is the switch, and the aperture will appear in the field of view. After adjusting the lens position and runner, make sure that the green aperture remains in the center of the field of view, otherwise the measurement reading will be inaccurate. It is recommended to measure three times.
